Mr. Matthias Cordes
born 1960, Dipl. Ing. Agr. University of Göttingen. Since 1987 Matthias Cordes is working in the company SALVANA TIERNAHRUNG GMBH. He is responsible for the product-management pigs/poultry/horses as well as for technical advices in the field of zoo –and wild animals nutrition. SALVANA TIERNAHRUNG GMBH is a subsidiary company of the SALVANA – group with the main company in Sparrieshoop near Elmshorn ( northern Hamburg) and branch offices in Germany ( Ahlhorn and Wertingen) as well as foreign branches in Hungary and Danmark with activities all over the world. Since 1904 SALVANA has scientific activities on the nutrition sector for all kind of animals together with an intensive practically collaboration with institutes and farms. Since 1995 SALVANA products find a good acceptance on the zoo –and wild animal sector. Cost-conscious work in all fields is very important. We don’t have a special zoo –and wild animal programme so not cost–intensive steps for production and packing are necessary. We use our well-established products which have proven successful in practice. Merely in some exceptional cases we are producing specialities for zoo –and wild animals ( example: SALVANA milk for elephants or mineral supplements for elephants).
